After the conflicting answers on Facebook, I rang the Thai Embassy in Canberra, Australia to get the requirements for an Australian Citizen to go to Phuket via the Sandbox.

1. Passport.

1. Covid-19 test no later than 72hrs before departure from Australia.

1. Insurance for length of stay.

1. Flight ticket , both inward and onward.

1. Certificate of Vaccination of Covid-19 longer than 2 weeks before flight.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian citizen traveling to Phuket through the Sandbox program must prepare the following documents: a valid passport, a Covid-19 test taken no later than 72 hours before departure, health insurance for the entire stay, both inward and onward flight tickets, a Covid-19 vaccination certificate issued at least 14 days prior to the flight, and confirmation of the SHA+ certificate from their hotel. Additionally, travelers are required to book and pay for three Covid-19 tests, which hotels typically arrange and add to the bill.
