Then you need to go outside the country. I would suggest going to Vietnam and getting it there. Malaysia is closed.

Totally Possible. The number of people on Non O or Retirement visas is very high. Also the PM is not looking to open the land borders any time soon. There is a very high chance of extension otherwise they will let people with multi entry visas come back in without insurance or quarantine.
