They let people out of jail and even gave back the same amount of cannabis that was taken from them when arrested. Seems you need to talk to a Thai lawyer!
exactly, trying to police and monitor the words of others and looking for offense where none was even intended. All the OP did was say he was put in a cell with Africans. Wow so offensive to name where people are from is it????
the general public and common sense decides. Just because you say you are offended does not make the comment offensive. Firstly, this would give any group the right to shut down all criticism whether justified or not just by claiming offense. Secondly, when you are offended, nothing bad actually happens to you, except what you have created on your own mind. There is nothing actually wrong with offending someone as such. Actually, it is impossible to have any intelligent conversation without risking offending someone.... all conversation would become so politically correct that nothing meaningful can be said at all! All the best to you. Nothing was "targeted" except in your own head.
OK keep seeking to be offended for no reason and see how that works out for you. Accurately describing someones race or ethnicity is not offensive. Unless you actually think it is offensive to be African which is ridiculous.
"Partner" so not married, how well do you know and trust each other. I am planning to go into business with a Thai guy but we are very good friends for 3 years now and have been through stuff together that means I have complete trust in him. Plus I have a Thai wife also to help.
Will it be a genuine business that you have an interest and involvement in? Or just something that she wants you to pay for?
