My brother almost got scammed 3,000 baht right in the airport.

Cashed in $500 USD. (Roughly 15,000 baht at that time)

He found it very odd that the teller was giving him all 500 baht notes instead of 1000 baht notes. He counted it in front of her. 12,000 baht and some change.

$3,000 short of what he was owed.

Typical scam. Always do the math yourself and count your money!

Took me 5-6 months with immigration attorney from the US for K1.

Sure enough. He was 3,000 baht short. This was no accident.

My lawyer wanted proof of income from my employer stating that I worked full time and included my hourly wage also.

This was for fiancé visa to the US.

Good luck with that tourist visa. Very hard to get for a Thai girl. My wife tried and was denied like most all.

If you want to bring her to the US do the K-1 fiancé visa.
