correct I believe if you mark funds for long stay Visa, then Wise sends it directly from their bank to your Thai bank, I’ve done it before and when I update my bank book, it shows an FFT transfer. I believe that stands for foreign fund transfer just guessing on that.

I realize you don’t make the rules Brandon I was commenting on the statement you made, “I assume it's so you're not just transferring the same money out and in every month”

when transferring money using Wise did you check the box sending for Visa? Because I believe the way it works is when you use Wise they send it to a local bank that they are in partners with and then that bank transfers it to your bank so it shows as a domestic transfer not a foreign transfer, but if you check the box sending for a retirement visa or something of that nature can’t remember the exact words it will go as an FTT transfer so I assume they would then send it directly to your bank, just an assumption on my part, based on the amount of research that I have done

wouldn’t that be clearly obvious from his bank book transferring in ฿45,000 and then transferring out ฿45,000 every month?

check that, I had to pay ฿2000 at Immigration in Phichit, because my wife didn’t believe me that she had to file a TM 30 she thought notifying the local police was sufficient.

there isn’t any such thing as Visa on arrival for 60 days. Visa on arrival is normally 15 days and I think Ext is 30 days.

in Hua Hin you have to take the video test if you don’t have a recognized IDP. (ie one from AAA American automobile Association is the only authorized one from the US) many of the IDP‘s that people have are fake and not recognized by the Thai government. But I believe every country has an official issue of an authorized IDP normally, it’s from an automobile association or something of that type. I showed up with all the documents and what I thought was an international driving permit, but the transport department clerk said it was not recognized by the Thai government, so I had to take the video course and take the test.

I think the money has to be in place at the time you apply for the OA visa

you’re wrong. You’re confusing it with the number of border crossing by land per year.

correct the bank owns it. But I bet you go around telling everybody that you own land. Just a quick question if you took a loan out from the bank, what did you use for collateral?
