I used a legit school to get the ED visa (Genius Language School, Phuket) and I've never heard or even seen them mention anything about a TM47. Just went every 3 months with TM30.

So the first time I file TM47 I'll have a years worth of fines to pay?

Edit: I wonder if I and my school have gotten the names mixed up? I've been going to Immigration every 90d with a document of where I've been staying. But I've (and the staff) have been calling it TM30.

Just googled and it seems this is actually the TM47?

Ah thank you. So from date of DTV issued, turn up to local immigration between the 85th to 95th day (?) with all other documents/photocopies already and then fill in the TM47 there?

I’ve been in Thailand a year on ED Visa and never heard of a TM47 before.

I’m guessing this is just an additional piece of paperwork from the hotel etc, similar to TM30?

I got my additional doc request other day, it stated “6 months of bank transactions”

I sent ~50 pages.

Applied in HCM via soft power very late 24th.

Heard back yesterday for additional bank statements.

Hopefully back in Thailand by next Friday.
