Do you really have an actual single entry tourist visa, which grants a 60 day stay per entry? This visa is largely irrelevant for most people, now that visa exempt entry gives a free 60 day stay to 93 different nationalities, including Brits. Unless you have a special situation where you needed a tourist visa, just enter via visa exempt entry by just showing your passport and being stamped in free.

It's not confusing at all. Sounds like you need to read an article on the Thai addressing system. The main address for your project or development is 19 Soi 5. Your specific unit is #1. This could either mean you live in house #1, or for condos, in apartment #1. In other countries the address would be written more like 19 Soi 5, Unit 1.

you have no idea what you are talking about. Every time you check in at a hotel, they report your stay to immigration. You wouldn't have any reason to be aware of them doing it, but it's wrong to say it doesn't need to be done

there are no direct flights to Thailand from anywhere in the USA, since Thai Airways stopped the route a few years ago.

It's a feature of all Thai bank accounts. Launch the bank's app, click the scan to pay function, and it instantly fills in the recipient bank info to do an instant transfer from your Thai bank account to theirs.

You won't notice it even if implemented. It'll just be added as a fee to your plane ticket cost, same as all the various fuel charges, airport fees, and many other taxes and fees already added to every ticket.
