they can't write that if it's via Wise as it comes from Wise's client bank in Thailand.

mine's been in there for 5 years untouched, after my retirement visa lapsed while outside thailand, i went to get another one on this trip, and they said i had to prove the money came from abroad. it's the same money they already approved two visas for. so basically it's tea money or send it out and back in again, or send another 800k.

Your kids don't need a visa until 14 in fact, so paying that amount is crazy. Better to have a visa I know but DIY if you want to get it.
