First of all the Embassy websites are often wrong as the UK one says you do need an IDP. Technically you do not need an International Driving Permit if your home country licence has a photo and is in English. However, in reality, you will need one as the police use it as an excuse to fine you and insurance companies use it as an excuse not to pay your claim. But this is only if you are a tourist. less than 90 days

keep in mind there are not many applicants for LTR even before the DTV.

I completely agree with Brandon mine dragged on for 3 months. Then I started calling them and got to the right person. They approved immediately

what rule was changed? i think the only rule that changed was 30 to 60 day visa exempt. I could be wrong

simply saying my advice is no longer valid based on some wild assertion that 100s have been denied. Can you show scientifically credible data to support that.

ok I can understand that. However, we don’t have hard statistics on denials.

i know that most people will say you will have a problem but you most likely will not. For many years I entered 8-12 times visa exempt but I never had a problem. If you significantly separate the 2 - 90 stays you should be alright.
