200bht plus a very poor exchange rate. I rent a place in thailand 10 years but only go there part time. Not being rich. I just find it easier to keep putting a bit of money in my Thai bank using wise. And getting a better exchange rate

I rent. People say why rent when you can buy a house. ( mostly thai people ) ! Simple answer I can't . All those that say me and my wife bought / built a house or bought so many rai. I just smile They are not needed in the law office to sign papers may as well have a coffee down the road whole Mrs does it..

Rent stay in control. Do what you want when you want and sometimes who you want !

give it a few weeks when the honeymoon is over . Starmer now realising how big the job is. They moaned about child allowance just for first 2 kids . But have kept it . Moaned about money being sent to help tackle illegal migrants but sent 84m yesterday etc

me too Chris. Rented a house there 10 years but only use it 3 months per year . Retire next year basic pension but would sooner struggle in thailand
