There are literally hundreds of guys who have done this and still doing this. Just a matter of the officer being told by you of your work schedule. They are also well aware that you are spending money here too on a very regular basis.

This is why the difference between visa and extension is important when asking for guidance.

If you Get a retirement visa, and then extensions of it, you can still change your mind and leave any time. The only commitment you have is financial whilst you are here such as maintaining adequate funds to.live on and for things like visa extensions and rental.leases etc.

Good question... my first 4 extensions at imm in Bangkok yes. This year's extension I provided evidence same as previous 4 years and they said "don't need it anymore".. even though the officer who processed it reminded me to keep it 400k...

. Ok. Ignore anything I say as a person who's been down this road before or take your own advice. I don't care. An invitation in Thai would and does make sense BECAUSE THE PERSON WRITING IT IS THAI AND THE EMBASSY APPROVING IT IS THAI!!. Thai embassies and consulates are famous for poor translation and individual requirements. Follow whatever the consulate you use states, is the best advice. Even though I've had 2 answers from 2 staff members at same consulate..
