Using the express immigration lane at Suvarnhumi makes things a breeze the immigration offices know you have money so you'll be spending up = good touist

Had same issue at Ratchauri could only do ext off a non-o so had to leave. That's two immi offices saying no now

My reason for saying it is the amount of road fatalities relating to buses of all sizes in Thailand. Did a visa bus ride 9 years ago before I knew better and barely slept through the fear of the speeds we were doing.

Couldn't pay me enough to get on one of those buses. Did you really get a tourist visa at the airport or a visa exemption stamp? Either way you can extend both.

I applied for a E-Visa while outside the country and came back in on that. So had Ratchaburi done it for me would have saved an exit/entry trip.

So back to my original reply, Ratchaburi office will not issue these, I tried last month after reading it was an option. Ended up having to leave and come back.

yes but you are saying being here on visa free, they can attend immigration inside thailand and apply for a new non-o visa?
