I’m getting my work permit again HR told me to extend my visa on arrival this week even though it was stamped until March 6th, does anyone know what the reason might be for making it before it runs out? I officially start my new job March 1st.

I also went to Imm Building B for my last extension, but they sent me to the IT Square building instead, is that the norm now?

Hi. I have a work permit valid until November. Then my Non immigrant b visa is valid until February next year.

I will finish working with this company and not renew my work permit.

First question - Do I need to inform labour department to cancel my work permit even if I work until the very last day or it automatically expires?

Second Question - Do I have to leave the country once the work permit expires or I can stay until my non immigrant b ends in February?

Third question - Do I need to cancel my non immigrant b visa by notifying somehow as I plan to apply for a DTV in the future?

Hi, I have a question about the non immigrant B visa. I have to go to Laos to apply for the visa as the embassy where I live would take too long. But the flights from here go via Bangkok anyway as there is no direct flight to Laos.

I was planning on flying into Bangkok for 1 night so I could leave my luggage there, then fly on to Laos the next day to go do my visa.

My question is, if I go through immigration in Bangkok for the night (I'm South African so I'd do the visa on arrival) Would that now affect my application for the non immigrant B visa in Laos? Should I not go through immigration?

Dear All, hope somebody can help / advise. I have checked posts first to see if I can find the answer but wasn't really clear. I entered Thailand on a Single Entry Non Immigrant B Visa, This has now been extended until next year and I have been told multiple entry until next year. Does this mean I don't need to get the rentry permit and complete TM8 at the airport. I have spoken to a few people and had conflicting information.

Do I need to apply in person or online? And if in person do I need to make an appointment at the embassy or do I just go to the embassy?

I tried to call but there is no answer.

I looked on the website but no luck, it only stipulates the documentation that is needed.

Hi all, bit of a long shot, I know, but has anyone on here had experience with applying for a Non Immigrant B at the Thai Embassy in Seoul, South Korea? If so, how long did it take? I’ve recently taken up my first teaching post in Thailand and this’ll be my first time applying for a Non Immigrant B. Seeing as I’ve had a trip to Korea booked for ages was hoping to kill two birds with one stone. Not sure if it makes any difference but Aussie passport. Thanks in advance.

Hi, hope you could give me an advise. I am based in Germany and would like to work remotely from Thailand for 3-5 Months. Is there any way to do it legally, not with a tourists visa? Is there a visa, or work permit for this type of stay? In the pandemic it wasn't an problem for my company. Now I have to do it by the book. Thanks in advance. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hello, currently teaching in England but moving to a school in Thailand in August. I am applying for a Non Immigrant B visa but I'm not sure which Criminal Check I need to provide to the Embassy as supporting Documentation. As an individual I cannot get an Enhanced DBS, just a Basic DBS or a Standard DBS. Will one of those be okay or do I need to get an ICPC from ACRO instead? Advice will be much appreciated. Thanks
