Hi all. I wonder where is better to apply for DTV visa in Cambodia (Phnom Pehn) or Laos(Vientiane).I'm in Bangkok now. Do I need visa for Cambodia or Laos and can I get it when I arrive. How many days should I book a hotel. What currency should I take with me and can I use my credit card there.Where is better for tourism and can I go to see another city until i wait for visa approval.Where in Bangkok can I make photos of me for the visa. Thanks in advance.

I have my DTV already, I want to go a quick holiday to Laos for a week, can I leave and come back in without making a re-entry permit or do I need to make one?

Hi everyone

Thinking about going with this company (yes I'm lazy)

But the amount of traveling in and out from the country makes it worth it since I'm already in Thailand.

They offered to change my workpermit to a dtv.

Agent fee: 18.000baht

Dtv application fee 350€ ( 12.479baht) total = 30.469 baht ~

I'm my opinion it's quite good. Going to Laos/Kambodja stay there for a week will probably cost around 18.000baht anyway. Especially now when the holidays coming.

Has anyone in the group used thai visa centre?

Thanks everyone, see you in the paradise 👍👍

I am on a non O visa which I just renewed. I don’t have a multi entry stamp and we are trying to plan a trip to Lao. Can I get a re-entry stamp driving across at Nong Khai or do I need to get it in Khon Kaen immigration where I do my visa stuff? Can I get it based on a date we are planning or do I have to go the day we are leaving?

We are leaving for Thailand 🇹🇭 in early January 2025 and returning to the USA 🇺🇸 on the end of April.

Our plan is to enter under the visa exempt/get 60 day stamp, travel to Laos 🇱🇦 in early March by air and return several days later and hopefully receive another 60 day stamp and return home at the end of April.

Has anyone left Thailand 🇹🇭 and returned a second time under the visa exempt and received a 60 day stamp both times?

Or should we get a multi entry tourist visa that’s good for 6 months and get stamped in each time for 60 days????

Any and all comments will be appreciated.
