I received a 60 day 'covid' extension, which i've now been told cancels the possibility that I can get a 60 day family visit extension? surely thats an error? how can one extension cover 2 categories?
Has anyone tried to do a 7 day extension off of the expired Covid visa program ? I have a tourist visa and been extending for a year. And need 7 days before leaving Thailand for logistical reasons.
We have a covid extension which is about to expire on the 9th November does this mean
a) we need to leave the country on the 9th November and come back in on a 45 visa exemption (U.K. passports)
OR
b) apply for a tourist 30 day extension at an immigration office as this was a covid extension
I’m a bit confused it’s not a huge deal as we can fly to a neighbour country for a few days but it of course is easier if we can get the 30 day tourist extension.
I just did a border bounce at Satun border South Thailand coming off the last Covid Extension in my passport. Used an agent and had no problems at all. Was getting asked a few questions until the officer spoke with my agent after which i was sent on my way. Whole process took 10/15 mins. Currently on the 7hr bus ride back to Phuket now
Anyone know what documents (if any) are needed to further extend a covid visa extension that is ‘under consideration’? Any chance the waiting time is less than the initial application?
I applied for a Covid visa extension on August 17 and it was 'under consideration' until August 31.
On 31 August the extension was stamped, but not for 60 days until 17 October, but for 90 days until 17 November.
It looks like the IO got the month wrong.
What is the worst case scenario if I leave from Suvarnabhumi on November 17? Can they say at passport control that immigration made a mistake and I am 30 days overstay?
Or is it better to check again with the local immigration?
My last Covid extension expires on September 21st, and I have found a convenient flight to my country on the 27th.
I was wondering if I can make the last Covid extension -August 24th- or is there a chance to extend for some few days - can barely remember about a 7 days extension-.
