About how much will be required for a Retirement visa for a 50 + foreigner with Immigration and visa agent charges?

Hello I’m Sharing my process with you from applying in Jakarta while staying in Bali, soft power muay thai and unemployed with no income for many years

Essential Costs in THB

Flights in out with flexible ticket + VOA = 12k

Hotel = 700thb per night x 5 nights

Food/drink = 1000thb per day x 5days

DTV online: 11.5k THB after exchanges see below

Note: The application is apparently payed by card only in IDR 5.6M = (11500thb) I expected to pay 10k in THB, so be better prepared than me for a more favourable exchange rate and experience.

- Dtv docs (invitation, paid invoice, curriculum, school registration, llc registration, 2x house book, owner id) / (my name, address, passport nr and phone nr visible in the document)

Timeline utc+7 Jakarta time

- Fly Wednesday 5feb from bkk to dps

- Send all docu Wednesday night 5feb 23:51

- Pending approval Thorsday 6feb 15:00

- Approved Saturday 8feb 11:00 (rebook my flight to an earlier date with flex ticket)

- Dps-Bkk Monday 10feb + Print visa paper Immigration ok no questions no show

= finished in 2 full working days isch

Total Cost door 2 door for visa: 26k thb 5days trip

Applying for DTV, and seeing some agents charges more then 50,000 baht when the embassy official rate is 400 USD. Why is the service charges so w expensive ?

Has anyone had experience applying for the DTV for remote workers for Thailand in Hanoi? (Costs, time it takes to get everything done, ease/difficulties, etc.). Thankful for any advice. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, Do websites exist that provide information on Muay Thai classes and cooking classes that are Dtv Friendly, including options and associated costs? Kinda like a Dtv approval search engine ?

I have a Thai girlfriend, known for 3 years, travelled back and forward to see her. She has spent 3 mths in Australia on tourist Visa last year. I am now looking at a Partner Visa so she can live with me in Australia. What is your advice on whether to get her to apply from Thailand or I do all the paper work from here. I used a Thai Visa Agent to get Tourist Visa to make sure I made no mistakes. Any constructive advice would be appreciated.
