I'm a bit confused about the COVID 19 extension. I have one currently that runs out on May 27th. I understand you can apply for the extension until May 30th. Does that mean I can go and apply for another one to take me through until July 26th?

Hey guys. my covid extension ends on june 15th. passport expires august 11th. am i able to go and get a covid extension now which will take me from june 15th up until august 15th? in that time i will be applying for a new passport at the trendy building. Thanks

when I applied for a work permit at Christmas the work permit should have run until August 31. However because my passport ran out on July 27, that was also stamped in as the last day of my visa. So, you might get another visa but it will likely only go up to the expiry date of the passport. Why don't you apply for a new one? From the time of dropping off the application it took about four weeks.
