Is there a time requirement to be in Thailand after your application is approved? Like from the time your application is approved you have x amount of months to arrive before your visa is cancelled.
Hello, I applied for DTV e visa on 23 December in Ho Chi Minh, got requested document on 27th.
It has been 6 working days and I really need to go to Bangkok this weekend, does anyone know if its okay to enter thailand with visa on arrival while my DTV visa is still processing. Then I plan to leave thailand and re-entry when the DTV visa is ready. I am just scared if there is a rule that you HAVE to reside in Vietnam while it's processing.
Hey all, anyone have personal experiences with entering Thailand on visa exempt while waiting for their DTV? My application is about 11 days old, but New York takes about a month. I know it's not allowed but I've read a lot of people just go to Thailand while their visa is pending and get approved no issues, anyone do this and run into an issue? Thanks in advance
Our departure date is early January 2025. A couple of questions. I am Canadian and my wife is Indonesian. I believe we are both Visa exempt for Thailand. Is this correct? Do they still give immigration and customs documents on the plane prior to landing at Suvarnabhumi? The reason I ask is because Laos has visa on arrival for me, she is exempt. And for Cambodia I have to do e-visa in advance and arrival card 7 days prior to arrival. These are our next destination after 10 days in Thailand. Just making sure I can arrive in Bangkok and just do it the old fashioned way, filling out documents on the plane. No e-visa required in advance? Also, we have to re-enter Thailand a second time for four days. No problem with one re-entry?
Does anyone know what the rules are for United Kingdom tourists to Thailand. I think the Uk is visa exempt and on some sites it says we are only allowed into Thailand twice per calendar year, and on other it says if you fly you can go in 3 times. I have already been there for 30 days in Jan and 30 days in May and I want to book a flight to Bangkok but am not sure if I will be accepted in. Any ideas please.
Hi, just really a double check on our plan from the experts.
Husband and I (both British passports) are travelling to Thailand for 65 days. From UK to BKK arrive 9th Dec, will be visa exemption 30 days. Doing a bit of travelling around but expect to be on Koh Lanta from 29th Dec.
Plan to leave on the 8th January to KL via flight from Krabi for 2-3 days. Come back, get another visa exemption for 30 days. We haven't booked the KL flights yet.
Leave via BKK on 9th February.
Any thoughts/other suggestions? Thank you in advance for the advice 🙂
