Anyone her who recently entered thailand of will soon? Does anyone know if there are any requirements for the certificate of entry besides the covid negative test, health insurance, quarantine hotel booking, fit to fly cert. And valid visa? Or is it entirely up to the embassy's decision whether they see the individual case as valid or not?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for entering Thailand currently include a COVID negative test, health insurance, a quarantine hotel booking, a 'fit to fly' certificate, and a valid visa. However, entry is also dependent on approvals from the Thai embassy, which may grant permission on a case-by-case basis, primarily for individuals with valid work permits or those married to Thai nationals. It's essential to consult your local Thai consulate for specific guidance.
i furthermore got confirmation from my local consulate that it is possible to a. Get a visa and b. Get a certificate of entry and therefore be able to enter thailand, when the embassy decides that there is a valid reason other than tourism
. Yes it's essentially up to your embassy if they will provide you with a certificate of entry. I understand you have to have compelling grounds for it, but ultimately your embassy have the right of approval or veto. Good luck with it!
. That was in the release from PR Thailand. The only other instances are compassionate grounds, and the Australian Ambassador had a meeting with the The Thai Foreign Ministry a few days and was informed the compassionate grounds were "matters of life and death". I don't know of other circumstances (at this time)

At this time the only people that have been approved to apply to get permission to get in to the country are people who hold valid work permits and people who are married to thaiz.
No other demographic of foreigner has been approved to apply for entry yet.

Sorry to steer this conversation in a different direction, but this is the first I have heard about being able to enter the country if you are married to a Thai citizen. I don't suppose you know the requirements to enter Thailand as a foreigner married to a Thai? Thank you in advance.
same exact process as in the image I posted EXCEPT you submit the marriage certificate (probably your thai wife's house book listing and a copy of her thai i/d)
CONTACT the thai consulate in the country you're in now to get the information
th local embassy is currently undergoing a renovation of their website and phone lines so i can't call them. I asked at a local honorary consulate but they didn't know either.
I'm certain a lot of people got the CoE before, but the process is dependent on the consulate. We don't even know which consulate you're trying to use.
