LAST UPDATE. Finally i got my DTV visa☺. I just wanted to share the timeline in Hanoi (from my experience): Applied on dec 23, requested business registration on dec 24, requested previous thai visas on january 7 (morning), DTV visa approved january 7 (afternoon).
Hi guys. I am a bit worried. I came to Hanoi hoping to get my DTV Visa approved quick. However it's been 2 weeks since I applied (I applied dec 23) and I haven't received approval, and I feel kind of stuck here. What should I do? 😔.
I received an email from the Jakarta Thai Embassy that due to unforeseen technical issues the launch of the Evisa system has been delayed. They cannot confirm when the launch date will take place at the moment and to check updates from their facebook page/website.
My Thai fiance had her K1 fiance visa interview on March 28th in Bangkok. They kept her passport after the interview. It is now June 16th and still no approval, pending administrative processing, with no idea of when it will be approved 'or not!' Feedback appreciated!
I have a trip planned to thailand for 60 days and my plane is on monday (departure from paris).
I made a request for a tourist visa on october 7 and still didnt get it.
I fear that I will not receive a reply before my departure so I am now exploring my options on how to get to thailand and make sure I could board the flight and have the right to get in the country.
Is there anyone with a similar experience with a canadien or french passport ?
That would be great if you could share your experiences !
I had a 78 day wait for my non-imm O based on marriage for my annual extension. Finally got my yearly extension today. Been getting extensions now for 10 years with no issues. Anybody else with this issue?
Once my temporary 30 days wait for approval had run out, I made a trip to immigration just prior to then and then couple times afterwards to check status. Was sternly told I must wait for them to call me and told not to worry, it’s in process and if I’m checked in the mean while not to worry. The police will call them to verify I’m not an overstay and visa extension is in process. Maybe from jail 🤣🤣
But what if I needed to leave Thailand for some sort of emergency back at my home country? I couldn’t get a reentry because my visa had run out. Going through immigration at the airport would probably have run up an over 30 days overstay. And then again leaving would void my application for annual extension.
If you're getting married in the UK, have sent off your marriage visitor application to the UK gov, and are still waiting for your confirmation please try to get someone to call / email to confirm that the visa is a marriage visitor visa and not a fiance visa!
We have just been on the phone and have found out our forms & biometrics - all sent off correctly - have been sitting in the wrong queue for the last 13 weeks!
Just a heads up!
They've moved my fiance's visa over and we're now expecting to hear a response in the next few days.
