When you have your DTV can you wait 5 months before making your first entry?

Hello everybody I'm a Cuban citizen I need to if when my 2 free months finished I can go away and enter and get 2 more months and later extend my visa 1 month more

I am planning to move to Thailand in July. I am just wondering whether it would make sense to apply for the DTV visa now and enter the country for a short time, leaving and come back in a few months. I fear that the regulations could become stricter, if not be changed completely. However, entry and exit could also cause problems. What do you all mean?

We entered Thailand for the first time yesterday with our DTV visas.

It was 5 months since approval and there was no problem.

We had to change our travel plans from within the 3 month window.

The rules stated you must enter within 3 months of approval.

Just in case anyone was in the same boat.

Hello group. If I use my two entries up on 90 day tourist visas from Australia… Can I still enter a third time with the DTV?

Or would the second entry need to be the DTV ..?

Just want to stay here for six months and see if we can commit to living here full-time first

For Americans that applied for the DTV in the USA, did you have to show a plane ticket and intended place to stay ? The LA consulate lists neither as a requirement and it says you can use the visa whenever you want.

But did they make you show a plane ticket and place to stay in Thailand or no ?

How months of bank statements did they want ?

Because when you apply it says don’t apply more than 3 months before intend stay.

Question if you book a 3 month cooking class for the DTV you complete the course leave and re enter with nothing booked are you still allowed entry for the 5 years TIA

In the application for the DTV visa we have to enter an arrival date and flight number. But my visa is already granted, anyone tried to enter Thailand before the provided arrival date? Could that give any problems?

Hello I have a question about student visas. If I am traveling to Thailand for a 3 month internship, can I enter Thailand a month before my internship starts, or stay a month after my internship ends? Or do I need to enter Thailand a few days before my internship starts and leave immediately after my internship is over?

Hi, I am moving to Thailand in July and have a non immigrant visa (single entry). I planned on visiting in a couple of weeks for 1 week. I am from the UK so do not require a visa for 1 week. I am wondering will visiting for 1 week impact my non immigrant visa?
