So I’m British and I came to Thailand on a 60 day visa free entry about 20 days ago.
I heard it’s okay but I want to double check if I can change it to a Non immigrant ED visa.
I also want to double check if I’m allowed to change my visa type whilst I’m in the country?
(From what I’ve seen, yes)
I start my internship on Monday and the only reason why I didn’t apply earlier is because one particular document was taking FOREVER to arrive.
I really wanted to come to Thailand a bit earlier than my internship to make sure that I can get things in order as it’s my first time coming here and I have little idea of how things work around here 💔
I am going to do a 6-month internship in Thailand. I still haven't applied for the ED non-immigration visa because I am missing some documents and I plan to leave at the end of March. Will I receive my visa on time by then? And I know that visas are valid for 3 months, so when I come to Thailand, should I go to the immigration office or should I wait until my visa expires to go there?
I am nepalese citizen from Nepal who just recieved thai non immigrant b evisa just yesterday. I am bachelor in hotel management student who is applying for internship in thailand hotel and got accepted too. The problem is my name is nabis thapa but in my thai evisa my last name is misspelled as tnapa.what to do ? I tried to get consult from travel agency from which I have applied for evisa they say there is ntg thier problem if there is some problem the visa should be rejected from embassy's and they cannot do anything further. They say I cannot reapply the visa as its validity last now and thai embassy would not do anything in this matter as they mention. I have my flight on Jan 20 , what to do ?
Hello I have a question about student visas. If I am traveling to Thailand for a 3 month internship, can I enter Thailand a month before my internship starts, or stay a month after my internship ends? Or do I need to enter Thailand a few days before my internship starts and leave immediately after my internship is over?
I have an ED visa for my internship and will need to extend it by 60 days and I can't leave the country. I looked online and they said I can extend it for 60 days with special permission. Does anyone know if this is true?
My Visa ED non-immigrant (single) of 90days expires soon. I’m currently doing an internship of 6 months in Ko Samui, but I already know that I can’t extend or renew this type of Visa… what are my solutions to stay here 3 months (until 9 october when my internship finish) ??
I currently have a Visa ED for 90 days but i stay in Thailand for an internship in Ko Samui, wich is during 6 months. I saw that it can be renewed for one year, but I’m wondering how does it works and wich papers i need to give ?
I am supposed to start an internship/training program next week and they told me from immigration that they cannot accept my ED visa unless I also provide a support letter from my embassy. Does anyone have a template for this kind of letter that you maybe requested before that I can show to my embassy?
I arrived two months ago with a non-immigrant ED visa for an internship (in a company, not as a student in a university).
It will expire in 1 month, while my internship should last until August, and I wanted to know if anyone had experience in extending their visa in this situation.
Hey guys, for my bachelor studies I'll have to do a 3-6 months internship and I am wondering with the strict regulations for foreigners concerning work if that would be any problem. Of course the internship will not be paid work. I'm on an ed visa, first extension of stay. Thanks for any insight. (FYI I study full-time at a thai university, no international program)
