Just joined the group. Searching for visa requirements for an Australian to visit Chiangmai in early March for 7 days of tourism. It LOOKS like I don't need a visa at the moment. Just turn up at the airport with a passport good for at least 6 months, some hotel bookings, a ticket out again that's valid and dated, and at least 2,000 THB. What have I missed???

For those who have received the DTV e VISA from the Paris Embassy. In the “Place of issue” section of the passport, have you indicated the city and country of the complete sentence so that it is exactly the same as the one on the passport?

I have been living in Thailand for 10 months on an OA visa. I intend to have a 3-month break back in my home country when this OA visa expire. Next year when I return to Thailand, I am planing to stay for 9 months, should I apply for an O visa in Thailand or OA visa for 9month stay in Thailand? Appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!
