Has anyone tried calling the Washington DC embassy? No one picks up the phone there….my application is well over a month and I thought of calling in for an update

Hi. Applied for DTV visa on 9/11 online through embassy in Washington DC. Today I got rejected. It says I used the number “0” instead of the letter “O” in my surname. I went back to a new application and you can’t even enter numbers in the family name blank.

I don’t see a way to try to make a correction. Any advice on how to proceed? Would hate to have to pay for it again (and possibly rejected again for the same reason). Anyone has a phone or email that I could call and ask?

Hey All, has anyone applied for the DTV in Washington DC.? If so how long did it take to get processed? I submitted mine 2 weeks ago and it's still in 'Pending Document Check's status. Haven't been asked for additional docs either.

How long is it taking to get the Tourist VISA (TV) from the Thai Embassy-Washington DC after you pay and send docs?

Also, can I still apply begin COE application too or do I need to wait until TV is sent back with passport? Trying to figure out a travel date but the estimated backlogs seem to be throwing me off. TiA.

Will the DC consulate be closed tomorrow? I saw someone post on here about a Thai national holiday tomorrow.
