I’m currently in Thailand and want to apply for the DTV visa. As far as I know, it can’t be done directly from Thailand. Has anyone experienced this and knows the best way to do it?
I’m considering traveling to a nearby country for a week, like Bali or Sri Lanka, to apply from there. Does anyone know which country is best for this and how long the processing time usually takes?
Since the processing time is unclear, I assume I’d need to book a one-way flight and wait for approval before booking a return ticket – or is there a better way to handle this?
Good afternoon. Does anyone know if chengwattana is wheelchair accessible and/or have photocopiers to use? I printed most documents 2 times but they might require something more. Hope that they also have a photo machine as my local place I tried only had different sizes 😱
Hi all, would anyone know which “local immigration office” is for min buri please? I’m looking to do the 60 day extension on my non O visit family/spouse visa.
Last year I successfully applied for a UK holiday visa for my TGF. This year I want to apply for a Schengen visa to visit Spain. I have 48 pages of docs submitted for last year's visa so I don't need an agent. What I want is help in securing an appointment to deliver the application and support docs from someone who has navigated the system. Cheers.
I believe many members in this group use and advocate for Revolut?
This is a pretty good story of how security goes wrong. Certainly the victim could have done more to protect themselves but it sounds like Revolut did next to nothing to protect it's customers.
Most certainly any financial service provider should have some security with new accounts and the number of transactions/payments within a period of time.
They save you money because they reduce expenses... Security is apparently one of those expenses
Just before my latest Thai tourist visa expired I thought I would just fly to Phnom phen for few days to visit a friend then fly back in and get 60 days on arrival. I was denied entry , held in don muang immigration cells and made to return to Phnom phen , so I thought sod it and went to Malaysia partly because my passport pages were now full and I got 90 days on arrival ... I've been out Thailand now since 10th august .
Getting the new passport is proving to be a major headache (UK) paid more than three weeks ago and no progress has been made. I think I'll be stuck here until near December . Will I be able to get a visa on arrival after having been out the country 3 + months by time I return.
Due to having also lost my phone and access to my banks getting a tourist visa isn't an option as I've no means to prove proof of funds ...
I'm told from 4th October walk in tourist visa applications cease both here in kl and penang and from 10th it goes e visa ... I can't get the apps on new phone due to having lost old phone number .
Thoughts ...on what to do...appreciated . I suspect it'll be well into November by the time I finally get my new passport . Can't even go in person to UK embassy , online only , the GOV.UK website is abomination ... They just take me on never ending loop, with a different person asking me the same questions everytime I contact the helpline . 😂
Has anyone here had a remote from on of the stall selllers?
Not sure if they work ok and if they are much cheaper that the dealerships. I have a Nissan Terra and have a spare but sometimes that’s in the village and the car is in Pattaya.
