Question: I am on a Non-O (marriage) multiple entry visa (from Savanaket) which expires 3 April 2024. If I come back to Thailand 2 April I still get 90 days but if I fly out and come back to Thailand within those 90 days after 3 April should I apply for re-entry permit or can I not do that because basically the Non-O is expired already??
I went to an immigration office because want yo know what can I do for a stay extension. I’m Peruvian, have 90 days (until july 23rd) and I don’t need a visa. They told me that I can apply for a covid extension (60 more days) for 1900 bahts. I have a couple of questions about that and maybe here you guys can help me:
1 - It’s pretty much sure to do that? I mean, I need to give them an explanation or they are giving them just “if you pay the fee”?
2- This is the most important one: Can I have any problem if after those 60 days I go out for a week and then come back to Thailand?
Could use a bit of advice. We, myself & wife, entered on OA & O visas. We had planned on her 90 days, applying for a extension based on being my family member. It appears we need to leave the country. That would be about mid-ways to her 90 days. We'd need to buy a re-entry permit for return. When returning, would she be stamped in for the remainder of her original 90 day, or would it be 90 days from entering, Or, if after original "stay to date", would her visa be expired? Thanks for any advice, we've just done the OA visa before, and that was pre-covid era.

I am just returning from Laos, I have a Non O Visa, multiple entry. I had to do my normal 90 day leave Thailand trip. On returning to Thailand after a couple of days in Vientiane, I entered Thailand. Got back onto my bus for Nong Khai. But I forgot to check my dates for the length of my stay, ah always 90 days. Oh oh checked only got 30 days, not the usual 90 days.
So I got off the bus and went back into the border crossing to see the officer.
It always pays to check your dates.
If it is not correct, smile and explain to the Immigration officer.
He fixed and altered the date to 90 Days, and he apologized too !
