I went through all the hassle of getting a 60 day visa, then at the airport Immigration I only got stamped for 30 days. How can I get my original visa validated?
Hello all. Any Americans (or Canadians) entered using their APEC / ABTC card recently? I have just been approved and yet to use mine. Wondering if Americans are getting 30 day stamps or sometimes receiving 60 or 90 days like the reciprocal participating countries.
Seems like it should be 30 days but could differ depending on the officer's attention to detail?
And if any Americans were stamped in with a 60 day or 90 day when they potentially should have had a 30 day, were there any problems upon departure?
Interested in hearing other Americans/Canadians experience. Thanks for any insight.
Hi, is it correct that the 30-day stamp on arrival can be used up to 6 times per calendar year (Australian passport)? And if there have also been entries on a 60 day tourist visa does that make a difference?
Good day! Is this a current rule? Referring to the 30 day stamp 6 times a year…
However, this change only applies to visitors who have not obtained a visa beforehand, and are entering from the border by land. Those who arrive at the airport without a prior visa will continue to receive a 30-day stamp up to 6 times per calendar year. Extensions at Thai Immigration for the visa exemption stamps remain to be 30 days for a fee of 1,900 baht.
So to get an extra 30days stamp I need to take my Passport and paperwork from where I’m staying. I don’t have a tm6 as it was suspended. Is this correct please. I’m staying in Rawai. Please admin tell me why you blocked this post???
