Hi, is it correct that the 30-day stamp on arrival can be used up to 6 times per calendar year (Australian passport)? And if there have also been entries on a 60 day tourist visa does that make a difference?

Immigration is currently clamping down on people living inside Thailand full time on an inappropriate visa so entries will be questioned more depending on your usage pattern. So if you are only out of the country for a couple of hours or days before returning you will run into trouble much more quickly than someone who spends a couple of weeks out of the country every month.

Visa exempt entries are 2 per calendar year via land or see, and "unlimited" via air. However if you are constantly using them, expect to be pulled to one side and asked why you do not have a visa

rather than using the term "unlimited" it is better to say there is no legal limit, however every entry is at the discretion of the immigration officer you stand in front of.
