For those of us that want to visit Immigration to double check that our current visa is covered by the July 31 Amnesty extension, did I read somewhere that they will even issue a receipt of some sort demonstrating that we got our case verified? I would have no problem even paying for that piece of paper. I'm in Chiang Mai. Has anyone gone to do this?

Well, if that's the visa you're on a (year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa you do NOTHING and you are covered on the blanket amnesty.

You are able to stay until no longer than the 31st of July so just wait it out and watch for when the borders open up so you can bounce for a new 90 day entry stamp.

BUT

I answered your question, NO there is no stamp, there is no nothing, that was the whole reason for issuing the amnesty to STOP people from flocking to the immigration office for stamps.

Non-Immigrant B, Multi Entry, with last 90-day stamp ending Apr 19, so I was covered up until Apr 30 for sure. Still imagine I'm good thru Jul 31 under this one too, but not wanting to leave anything to chance. Figure whenever borders open I'll go do a bounce, as long as there's not some no-Covid certificate catch-22 that would get me stranded outside the country.

Nope you read wrong, there is NO receipt and NO stamp that shows you're covered on the current amnesty that lets you stay no longer than the 31st of July
