TLDR : Answer Summary
The question seeks information on the launch of Thailand's digital entry system. As of now, the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) appears to be on indefinite hold with no specific date confirmed. However, an electronic version of the old TM6 card will be reintroduced on May 1st. It is advisable for travelers to check the official government website for the latest travel requirements before their trip.

the big thing about this is, they say it is suspended, not given out on airlines but can be got on a table near the immigration control, which I don't know about, but now the reason I have to rant on ,is you STILL NEED IT FOR THE YEARLY EXTENTION AND THE 90DAYS NOTICE, SO NOW IN THE CRAP GANG

Possibly 1st of may.

Doesn’t really matter. Just check the .gov website for requirements before you travel.

It depends what you mean? The old TM6 card that you used to fill in on the plane as you landed is being re introduced on 1st May but in electronic form, so I would watch out for that if you are going to arrive after this date.

the TM6 will only be implemented on the 1st of May as it currently stands. If you arrive in thailand before that date you do nothing, no change, no TM6

No one knows if or when the ETA will happen. It's on indefinite hold
