TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation centers around obtaining a multi-entry retirement visa (OA visa) in Thailand and the necessary health and accident insurance. Recommendations for insurance providers include AXA Thailand, Pacific Prime, and Falcon, with advice to check requirements from approved Thai companies to comply with visa regulations. Some participants suggest consulting financial advisors for personalized insurance options, emphasizing the importance of coverage for expats.

Actually him and his firm are one of the few that offer low fixed fees compared to the many firms here that charge high commissions. This is what they are trying to improve in the overseas market.

Try Falcon 7000 bht with 200,000 deductable just to get the OA visa then have a look at True Traveller for insurance while abroad.
Lots out there we finally settled with Pacific Prime - I guess we only know how good there are when we get to claim I pay 35k a year which excludes outpatient , however you will need that for the O-A visa - I got here before insurance was introduced/imposed and in Phuket those rights are grandfathered
The only multiple entry retirement visa is the OA visa and you likely need insurance from one of the short list of approved Thai companies. Check the website of the embassy or consulate you'll be applying through for their requirements.
