Hello, I am here in Hua Hin, Thailand on visa exempt (30 days). Thinking I would like to stay until end of March. What are the options please. I heard I can go to immigratiom office, pay 1900 bt and get a month extension. Maybe do that a couple of times? Thanks in advance.

30days tourism extension is available only once per entry on a visa-exempt or tourist visa. That's it.

Currently, there is a 60days extension based on being unable to travel due to Covid, but the last day you can try to apply for it is 25 Jan. I believe you have to apply for a 30days tourism extension first to be able to apply for a Covid extension in Hua Hin anyway.

Testing positive for Covid may well get you an extension but the timing is difficult.😅

if a person tests positive for COVID-19, and they are at the end of their “admitted to” stamp, they can get a
