While waiting to get my Guardian visa for one of my children who is studying in an international school, I entered Thailand on a 30 day tourist visa (I guess it’s a visa exemption). Any chance I can extend my tourist visa inside Thailand without going out of the country?

you don't have ANY visa 😕 you showed up here without a visa in your passport and you got stamped in FREE for 30 days. all you have is a red entry stamp

You can go any time, they will add the 30 days to your current expiration date

what is your nationality?

There are 11 countries that get in on free stamps that CANNOT get 30 day extensions 😮

as you entered with NO visa and got stamped in free for 30 days you go to the immigration office located on the 3rd floor of IT Square Laksi Plaza

If you are really on visa-exempt entry (depends on your nationality), you can apply for 30 days tourism extension for one time only at your local immigration office. Go to check with the immigration office for detailed requirements, but generally as shown in the attachment.
