if you read thru the comments you would see they will have the necessary funds once their home is sold, so yes need an agent to help. Have you ever meet an agent, many are very education, helpful and even pay your taxi to meet up!

next arrival start all over again with a 60 day exempt stamp. One day overstay is just 500 baht fine at airport sometimes

can insurance here is VERY different, the insurance is on the vehicle age and value not on the driver, and generally any one can drive as long as they have a licence

The first thing you need to do is ensure a TM30 has been made to register your new address. Maybe your landlord has done this, otherwise it's your responsibility. I would phone or email the immigration you would be using & check their rules, so many office's requirements differ
