I got Covid my first week here last month and went to the hospital for tests etc. Doctor said policy was now to recommend self-isolation for 5 days after catching it, but said tests showed I’d had it a week so no need to do anything.

There’s no limit on visa exempt entries but Immigration could ask questions if they think you are taking the piss.

said, get a Non O. You’ll need the insurance for the initial application but not for any subsequent Extension. Saves you buying a second policy each year when you already have insurance.

Neither require 800k in Thai bank account for initial application. Both require it for annual Extension.

You don’t need insurance for the Non O ‘for Retirement’. Get that visa.

You can then buy whatever insurance suits you best and not worry about it meeting Immigration requirements.
