To obtain the non-immigrant O retirement visa annual extension using the sum of the bank deposit and pension income, is required a sort of income certificate, but it's not clear to me, I need to find precise and reliable information on which documentation must be shown to demonstrate the requirements (again: the sum of the pension income and financial deposit that reaches a total of 800,000 baht).
In addition to the obvious bank statement, I don't exactly understand what must be shown regarding the pension income and where, a possible document, can be requested.
Thanks for the help, it will be precious as usual. 🙏
I’ve read and watched several videos about retirement visa requirements. The Thailand government website says either 800k baht or meet the monthly income requirement. One video says I’d have to do both meet the monthly requirement and $800k baht. I’m sure someone here has some actual experience. Why I don’t like Google for answers . Multi answers.
For the LTR does the $100K USD need to be in a Thai bank?
Insured under a health insurance covering a minimum of USD 50,000 OR currently receiving social security benefits in Thailand OR deposit and maintain at least USD 100,000 in bank account balance under the applicant’s name for no less than 12 months
Hi, I visited a recommended visa shop in Pattaya today to clear up something about a retirement visa that I am not 100% sure on but still only 90% sure...lol It may be me being stupid. I'm nearly 54 and would like to retire in a couple of years. When I do I will not have a monthly income well not a very good one. I will have the 800,000 to put in the bank and keep there. Do I still need to show a 65000 monthly income coming in from the uk? I tried to explain to the visa lady that I can put in at a couple of million and do I still have to show an income but she just wrote down 65,000 I don't think she understood what I meant. Thx.
Advise please. I would like to renew my visa by showing an income to my Thai bank of $65,000 a month, unfortunately in September I only deposited $62,000 but in each month either side I deposited over $100,000 with transaction dates on the 4 th and the 29th either side. Will this pose a problem and should I stick to my agent. Visa due in Jan.

Hi another visa question, sorry if it's been asked before.
What are the latest regulations when renewing a retirement visa and the 800k bank deposit. I hear you can take the money out of your account 90 days after your application but must have it back on your account 90 days or 3 months before you reapply.
Hi! I am going to try for a non O retirement visa in Thailand. I have some confusion about how much I need to deposit in the bank. Is it 800,000 baht regardless of your income or is it 800,000 minus your monthly income?
