my consulate is not saying its their decision on the 15 days. they specifically say its the discretion of the immigration officer at the border crossing

lol! that makes it even MORE insane if embassies are contradicting rulings specifically made by the department of CONSULAR AFFAIRS!! lol

but wouldnt it be the immigration police who would give you the original 15 days and then wouldnt they need to approve the change to 30 days?

no one knows when you got there but you. if you are not close to an imnmigration office, go do it at your local police station and make sure they sign and give you the receipt at the bottom of the form
