neither have I and ive been doing this route 3-4 times a year for the last 21 years on different entry visas. Something has changed I think as at check in they where checking everyone in front of me.

This time my airline checked I had a return ticket that was within the 180 days

It doesn’t need to be in a Thai bank, mine was the equivalent gbp in my uk account and I just needed to show a statement with the balance

Look into the DTV, ask your employer if they will provide a letter stating that some of your work can be done remotely ( even if it’s just online meetings/calls.

This happened to my mate but the passport was declined at Manchester airport on his way to Thailand, had to rebook flights and get a new passport, he had flown with it like that numerous times with no issues, it only takes one official to say it’s no good.

If you’ve got time then replace it

yes I didn’t pre book the flight, just put the flight number and dates that I was planning to take

I don’t have a template, but it was just a headed letter with the the embassy address in the corner stating that my position as a site project manager involves site visits and remote working, then signed by the company director

I applied at the London embassy, just needed a letter from my employer stating thank you some of my work is done remotely
