OK, thanks Tod, so other requirements I was thinking of are for tourist visas yea? I have the blue book and hopefully she gets her stuff in order, so I shouldn't have any dramas. I've never been to Savanaket, so just wondering about people's experiences. I've been advised Savanaket isn't as busy and therefore is quicker regarding queues etc... Although also been told it's dead quiet there and nothing to do, but I'm not really bothered about that...

2 extensions plus 1 border bounce = 180 days also. Maybe costs a little more doing the extensions but it saves a border run. Unless I'm missing something, there's not much in it between the 2 options...
