just to be clear, I first received emails acknowledging that my applications had been received and were being reviewed. Then 3 days later I received the approval notices with copies of the receipts, showing the next due date, attached.

I’ve been trying every day for 15 days before it was due, but sadly I was told I needed to report to immigration. My wife’s application, due on the same date, went through on the first attempt. I will visit immigration to sort it out, now I’m just waiting for confirmation of which office. Thanks

I update my book (fixed term account) at CW on the morning I renewed my extension of stay. It showed the current date and balance (800K) no interest had been added at that stage. I had opened the account 2> months earlier.

you can go into Bangkok Bank and have your book updated at any time. I was asked by the IO to go to the bank on the day I renewed.

Sorry to hear that, I spent 10 hours at CW yesterday, renewing my wife and sons extension to stay and sorting this out it the middle. I'm glad its only once a year. All the Immigration officers we dealt with, with the exception of the woman issuing numbers, were very polite and friendly.
