We are in Hoi An and applied through HCM. 5.5 days from start to finish for husband. Doing mine now.

It varies so much. We were going to do it as older nomads but decided to join a combat school (paid for tuition). However we had a biz pack ready. It included biz registration, where it is incorporated (ours was Australia) Certificate of employment/contract, engagement letter and a letter we wrote saying we had permission to work remotely. DM me for copies. Husband has them.

Just did it. Started last Monday night. Got it at noon. Allow yourself more time as they ask for documents one by one.

Poor guy had been attacked by people who wait like sharks on this thread. I've seen it time and time again. I'm old but I know what he meant. There are a lot of older, bitter people who just have nothing better to do.

I totally understand how you feel. Many of your assertions have a basis however the confirmation bias of the group you're talking to won't allow them to see it. We live in a divided world my friend, in all sorts of ways.
