What should I keep in mind when showing my DTV to immigration officers in Thailand?

Well, back into CMX on DTV yesterday and luckily I did have the dirty photocopy of the DTV as the immigration officer screamed at me for it. I simply said, "Sorry, I didn't know you needed the paper as well," and that was enough and then he got difficult. Luckily I found it in my bag. He huffed and puffed and stamped me through. Going to make many photocopies of that piece of paper.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When dealing with immigration officers in Thailand, it's crucial to always carry a physical copy of your visa documentation, especially the DTV. Having a photocopy on hand can help avoid complications and frustration during the immigration process. Others in the community stress the importance of keeping copies inside your passport and carrying all paperwork at all times to prevent issues. Additionally, if faced with a rude officer, it's advisable to stay calm and request to speak with a supervisor, as this often leads to a more pleasant resolution.

When an immigration officer tells at you or is rule ask to speak to the chief immigration officer on duty and they soon become very nice and polite to you

You need to be able to show the visa in order to get stamped in on it. Staple a copy inside your passport

@John *********
staple onto passport page? Not sure I'd risk page getting torn when places like UK don't like any tears or rips.

You had a copy of it on your phone with the QR code on it?
