I will locate it. It wasn't a famous one. It was hidden in the old quarter amidst the shopping streets. Simple, humble. I followed a Vietnamese couple's directions, lit my incense and said a few words, wandered in the garden and felt ok about whatever went down. And that is rare for me. BUT there were omens...Yesterday the hotel apologised for giving us a very noisy room where I did not sleep (nice hotel) then gave us half price spa treatments and didn't charge us for my husband's mini bar raiding or the taxi to the airport and couldn't do enough. 5 minutes before the taxi arrived, the visa was printed out and they gave me a bag of cookies and a present of tea to take.
No agent. Just did it ourselves using the advice of those who went before us in the past few months. Silly to use an agent. It won't favour you any more than what you can do.
I realise that and by considering the ongoing costs of visas you also give reassurance to people. And as we used to say in ad agencies, that's one of the big ones.
