Ill be applying for another 12 month extension in december. Non o based on marriage.
This time i want to use the monthly income (40k) instead to the 400,000 in thai bank ( 2 months).
Does anyone know what docs are required required for this method. And how many months pay do i need to show. Thai work permit. Working for thai company British passport. Phuket office.
With all the concerns about immigration requesting an additional Muay Thai course on extension ( after 6 months)
I'm ( I own a muay thai gym) considering doing this (2nd document pack) for our customers for free ( well maybe an admin charge of 2 or 3k) if for some reason they didn't complete the 6 month course of 26 classes in the first 6 months.
Would this or something similar give applicants the confidence to go down the soft power route without fear of being stung for a second course?
Hi, I recently moved to Thailand and still trying to understand visa process, so bear with me :D
I came here in late December 2023 on a NON-B visa (90 days, issued from Thai embassy overseas). Shortly after arriving I came to a decision to resign. My child is currently in an international school in BKK, (we have applied for her NON-ed visa, hopefully will get it next week), so I am thinking to convert from Non-b to non-o as a guardian of my child. My employer says this is impossible and that I have to use their agency service to get visa conversion which will cost a lot for me. I have checked immigration division 1 website and seems like I do not need agency service and can apply just myself.
Also employer is saying my 90 day visa will be cancelled along with my work permit. As far as I understood employer can not just walk in to immigration office and cancel my visa as it is not an extension of stay. Am I wrong?
Any advice on how I should proceed? I am very much confused right now.
At the moment a friend (German passport) is applying for a non0 90 day single entry Visa.
The webpage of the RT consulate Frankfurt, states that the financial requirement for the 90day single entry visa is 5000€ in the bank for the last 3 months.
Now, the online application wants an upload of proof of 65000 THB monthly income or 800.000 THB in the bank.
What is he supposed to upload?
Just a statement with 5000€ for the last 3 months?
**AT THIS TIME; there are reports from people used an embassy letter to request a 30 day extension (before the previous amnesty ran out on Sept 26th) and who have went back to get the under consideration stamp "loop closed". They were stamped in until Nov 30th
**60 day extensions after amnesty ends
**We have no information on how the "60 day extensions" (possibly without the embassy letter) will be handled either. Just have to wait it out and see what happens S
STV - Special Tourist VIsa
As far as the Special Tourist Visa (that's good for 90 days, and can be extended twice for 90 days each time) we know NOTHING more than is in the news. Period, end of story.
Contact the thai consulate in the country you're in, they will be the first to have the information of how it will work
We are not allowing posts about these things on the group right now because all we know is what you know
Does anyone have a source for updates on this? In terms of airlines resuming (or not) their international flights in/out + visa amnesty deadline status
