thanks for the info… i guess i will look more into the tax situation next year. many countries have the DTT so it shouldnt be a big issue anyway and overblown discussion. i guess anxiety… i am just not sure how anyone will proof, how much money you brought into the country.
trial and error… success chance very low with most bank branches… you could use an agent but its often expensive and i would call it sketchy as its not a normal way of opening the account. some banks even request 20-30k baht to open an account if at all. its just one crackdown away from getting shut down. same as they did with the house owners and nominees recently. its good until its not. ;)
yes at any point you can save and come back later… i think its saved for up to 2 weeks before it gets auto-deleted if you have not submitted the application
No, you cannot apply for or get a DTV while inside thailand. You will have to leave the country and apply there. If you are already in thailand then consider flying to Vietnam and doint the evisa process or get an appointment in Laos - Vientiane and do it in person…. An agency cannot really help you with obtaining a DTV. the information you need is all for free in this fb group available.
wow its really hard to discuss with people here that dont believe anything. while this had nothing directly to do with a 90 day report and just asking the immigration about the requirements of a potential extension. if you dont believe people then why dont you move your a.. over to immigration and ask for yourself? people always expect that everything is beeing handed to them on a gold platter and when it is they wont even take it and start useless discussions. i find the info incredibly helpful and it prepares me for that might come. no one claims that 3 months away from a potential extension every single requirement is 100% clear. but it gives a good indication. and as of now it looks more like you have to proof everything again.
