no but any official word, even from a local office, is more data than the speculation that people are putting out. right? i am not generalizing it at all. just telling you my experiences. why dont you go and ask 10 offices in the country if you are so interested in the topic?

okay. well in Krabi they tell people that for an extension you will need document proof again. it is what it is.

i have only read about people beeing told that you will need document proof again for the extension. and i also have been told that my immigration when i asked them. for me thats pretty clear… but every office will do their own thing anyway, same as with all the other things

why do immigration officers then tell you the details when you ask them? just do your own research and find out. its hilarious how everyone is guessing and guessing and creating post after post when you are one email or a short visit to immigration away from the information you want? its crazy. immigration isn’t responsible for handing out the DTV. but they are the one doing the extension and letting you into the country.

not a speculation for me as i got told the details by immigration. there is no official spokesperson for an extension. every province / office will have their own rules as its always the case.

@Lg ******
90 day report is free and its not an extension.

why dont you ask immigration to give some guidelines for the extension at their local immigration office? it could be that easy. you are one email away from having the information.

@Greg *******
people are asking immigration about the requirements for the extension. its very province specific probably. but if you only believe in officialy written and signed information from officials then you will be out of luck as there wont be anything. not now and not in 3 months…

for the extension you will need to show proof and then that would require a soft power activity in the future and not the past… only a border run will prevent this…. until they start checking some stuff on entry… we will see what will happen.
