Three related questions: [1] Is it still necessary to do a TM30 on returning home to Phuket? [2] If I use my pink ID card to check into a hotel, does my stay there get transmitted to immigration? [3] Assuming TM30 is required, is it still possible to do it online? If yes, is it an app or a website? The old login doesn't work.
While on the Thai pass for visa exemption for test and go, after you leave the test and go hotel, and go to the next hotel, is there any special proof you need to show the next hotel that you in fact completed the test and go stay + test? Or do they look that up in a database with your thai pass or passport ?
I want to get my first covid-19 extension, already did 45 days exempt + 30 day ext. I'm in Bangkok. (1) Since I may change accommodations ASAP, I'm worried about not having my passport for hotel check-in. What's the most days I may be without? (2) On the covid form, is there a preferred safe chocie to my reason on the BKK form PDF? Checkboxes A "I am not permitted to enter the dest. country ... " B "The embassay / consulate is unable to issue the letter of confirmation and request a temporary stay." C "No return flight or airline available" D "Other". My real reason is that I feel safer not traveling & cases are high at home (more unsafe). (3) If I can get 2 covid extensions, does anyone know in BKK what is the earliest I can go back? do they follow the "when 45 days are left" rule here? Thanks in advance, you guys are amazing!
Just to clarify for travel to Thailand now. If you arrive before 6pm and check in your hotel this counts as day 1. So you are required to do 14 nights quarantine. Not 15 nights as many hotels are suggesting. They are just trying to obtain a extra nights pay.
I just went to the Immigration Office in Nakhon Si Thammarat, want to apply for Covid Visa Extension, they told me they require not only the booking confirmation but also the report from hotel in the check-in day that I really stay there. Is it really required? When I came to Thailand on a TR Visa, nobody needed any report from the hotel I booked.
I'm sorry if this question appeared here already. I couldn't find anything via my phone.
Just a heads up before Robert Lagus deletes this. If your reporting office is Chumphon, and by law you are now requiring you to report on arrival back home. they didn't care before. If you stay in a hotel down the street on the beach and check in and out you still need to inform immigration you returned to your house. I got burnt for 2000 baht today for my last trip to Bangkok last week.
