So I am arriving in BKK on March 30 and staying at a hotel there during April but flying up to CNX for 4 days and again staying at a hotel. Should I assume that both hotels are responsible to report my location to Immigration at both locations for both ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When staying at hotels in Thailand, both locations are typically responsible for reporting your presence to immigration through TM.30 notifications, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

I agree with

,

IF you are staying at a hotel you're covered because they do the TM.30 (notification of foreigner in residence) online for their guests.

If you are in a hotel - you should be good to go.
