Hi. My daughter is on a Non Ed visa that's expiring this month. Does anyone know if it's possible to get a 1 month grace extension at immigration if she needs that time to get her flight tickets and plan her travel out of Thailand? Thanks.
Went to immigration on 15/2 to cancel the extension of stay. Just need to provide the letter from school, photocopies of all visa stamps in passports. Surprisingly no fines, maybe I am lucky?
Hi.
I have an extension of stay based on NON ED until 8 FEB 2022 from Bangkok immigration office. I left the country without cancelling my extension of stay at the immigration office.
I have the document from my school that stated I left in January. I will be entering Thailand via visa exempt from Malaysia again, Can I cancel my previous extension at Phuket Immigration (diff office)?
I went to Chaeng Wattana Immigration this morning to ask about switching to Non B from Non ED (expired student) as I just got recruited by a Thai company, and I COULDN'T do it.
.
The officer told me ONLY "Teacher" applicants are considered.

Plus, amnesty period will be ended on 26th Sept 2020. Unless you go out of Thailand before the nominated date, you must:
(1) Go to your country embassy to ask for the extension form.
(2) Bring this (1) form to local immigration to get the stamp (+30 days -> to 26th October 2020).
.
All foreigners who must leave but still stay inside the country after 26th Sept 2020 WITHOUT permission (2) will be counted and fined 500 thb/day for overstaying.

Ps: attached pics are the newest appendix to Immigration laws, requested by Ministry of Education, applied to teacher applicants who want to switch/gain Non B visa in-country.
Can anyone clarify the information given to me today at immigration - apparently if I put my son on a Non O visa he is not allowed to be in school in Thailand? They tell me to apply for a Non-ED and actually wrote that down. His school can do all of this for me no problem but is this the best route to take. I am getting conflicting advice - some say Non O and others say ED. He is turning 15y in November and we are busy now with the visas (British passport) Thanks in advance
Hi guys, im currently on a Non Ed visa, is it easier to apply for a re-entry permit at the airport or at immigration? Through your experience which one was easier?
