Can someone explain the difference in a Non O and a Non AO visa please?

It seems a lot less hassle applying for a Non O as don't need police check or insurance.

I'm 57 so hoping the Non O is the way to go.

I don't have a bank account and can see from other posts that it not possible to get on in visa exempt now.

With a Non O visa is it an easy process to open a Bank account to convert it to 12m?

I have a non OA visa and in about 2 weeks I have my first 90 days - so I need to visit immigration, can someone tell me what I need to take with me ?

I arrived in Bangkok with a Non OA based on retirement (US) with a visa issue date of March 20th 2024 and visa expiration date is March 19th 2025. I have a single re-entry permit with a valid date until March 14th 2025

If I leave Thailand on March 3rd and return on March 10th from Vietnam by air, what date would my new stamp be good for? I have read somewhere that if I have a health insurance plan good for another year I will receive another year of validity on the same Non OA visa in Thailand.

Furthermore I read that I would NOT need to have 800,000 Baht in my Thai bank account.

Could you please confirm my thoughts that I can leave, return and get another year stay as long as I have health insurance.

Hello! I have a NON OA retirement visa and my wife has the trailing spouse visa. Both our visas expire on January 8, 2025. We are both out of Thailand and unable to come back to Thailand before January 8, 2025. Can we renew our NON OA visa outside of Thailand in our country of citizenship (UK , Canada)? Or what are possible options?

Does anyone know how to renew a NON OA visa.

Hi. My current extension of stay under my Non OA visa expires on 18 July. I'm presently in Australia for medical treatment and will return to Thailand on 11 July and plan to apply for an extension of stay the next day. Can i expect any difficulties with immigration on arrival?

Granted a Non OA visa end January.

Arrived Thailand February 29.

Is our first 90 day report from date visa issued or date arrived in Thailand?
